What is up with people fellating this film from hither to yon? The performances are so horribly mediocre. Brad Pitt is just a hot piece of ass to get women to watch it, Morgan Freeman is just Morgan Freeman. Everyone goes, "WELL KEVIN SPACEY WAS JUST SO CREEPY WITH HIS LACK OF EMOTION," when it was just him phoning it in as usual. I think he did a better job of emoting in Superman Returns. Not a bad flick in the least, I think the reason it doesn't have higher ratings is 1. it's historically accurate, and everyone knows that you have to substitute Americans into the plot to make people watch a movie (see: U-571), 2. Tom Cruise is in it, 3. Tom Cruise wears an eyepatch but does not take advantage of this by leaping through a doorway while wielding a machine gun in his hand and holding a knife in his mouth.

Great movie featuring good ol Bruce Willis and with a great psychotic performance by Brad Pitt. Any one else like this movie? Its about the majority of the human population dies from a virus in 97 and they send ol Brucie back to 96 to try and find a cure/the cause of it so that they can save those left. Anyways, its a really good movie. Really a trip. Check it out sometime if you are ever at a blockbuster or something.

Quantum of Solace

This movie was extremely average. The action scenes were pretty "amazing" but I've seen the likes of them before, pretty much think The Bourne Ultimatum with less realism. The plot was horrible and I hated most of the characters.

It's no Casino Royale, but it's decent. Definitely a rental/one-time matinee viewing.
